Home / Services / Whole-Home Filtration

Whole-home filtration, the flagship system.

One system treats every tap in your house, softening the water and filtering out chlorine and chemicals, plus RO at the kitchen sink for drinking.

Austin draws from the Highland Lakes on the Colorado River, and the water travels through limestone Hill Country geology before it reaches your tap. That means hard water and chloramine disinfection in most homes across the metro. This system addresses both: carbon removes the chloramine taste at every tap, and the resin softens the water before it hits your appliances, showers, and fixtures.

This is the system most Austin Metro homes need. It installs off your main water line so every faucet, shower, and appliance in the house gets better water.

What's actually in it

A single tank holds four media layers, with the control valve on top and the brine (salt) tank beside it:

  • Carbon filtration media removes chlorine and chemicals first, protecting the resin and improving taste and smell.
  • Ion-exchange resin softens your water, better for hair, skin, appliances, and your water heater.
  • Support bed anchors the system.
  • Quality pressure vessel, built for durability and long-term reliability.
The control valve is the difference. Quality control valves manage regeneration and water flow reliably, outlasting lower-cost plastic alternatives.

What it costs

About $2,999 installed, taxes included, for a standard city-water home. Flexible financing available, no credit check.

How it gets installed

A professional installer connects the system at your main line, We schedule at your convenience. Most installs are straightforward utility room or garage jobs. If your home has a tougher setup, we tell you the adjusted price before any work starts, never after.

Maintenance is simple

Keep two to three bags of salt in the brine tank and check it every few months. The softener has no filters to change; it self-cleans during regeneration. The RO filters get swapped about once a year.
